The Concept of the ImmunoBiotic

Lactobacillus plantarum HK-137
Lactobacillus plantarum (HK-137) is found abundantly in cultured dairy foods like kefir and in fermented vegetables like kimchi and sauerkraut. Compared with other organisms, HKL-137 has shown to exhibit superior immune-supporting activity with a high safety profile.
The inclusion of this key ingredient in ImmunoGenex – Lactobacillus plantarum (HK-137), is the result of extensive and ongoing Japanese research. Surprisingly, the Japanese research group showed that killing the microbes at a precise time point (18 hours) optimised the number of microbes present as well as optimising their immune-stimulating activity. Not only does this process optimise its immune potential but it also ensures that the raw material withstands the low pH of the stomach. More so, it is temperature-stable over a range of food temperatures and its stability persists for at least 5 years.
Larch Arabinogalactans
Larch arabinogalactans (Larix sp.) powder is a natural, plant-derived soluble fibre, high in polysaccharides, sourced from larch tree bark. The powder is derived from the wood of the larch tree (Larix species) and comprised of approximately 98 percent arabinogalactan. Arabinogalactans are found in a variety of plants but are more abundant in the Larix genus, primarily Larix occidentalis (Western Larch). The Western Larch is unique among pines in that it is deciduous (losing its leaves in autumn).
Studied for its prebiotic attributes, larch arabinogalactans powder has a long history of use for supporting digestive health.
