At Sunwarrior, we start with 100% clean, plant-based ingredients that are always non-GMO. Our products are soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and we never use fillers in our protein powders. And we are always 100% vegan. Our ingredients and final products regularly undergo micros testing to comply with regulatory requirements and ensure Sunwarrior’s high standards are upheld. Our products provide essential nutrition and building blocks to fuel your body for optimal performance and longevity. And we practice lean methods in our manufacturing to ensure the best possible freshness.
In 2019, we transitioned to in-house manufacturing and fulfillment because of our commitment to continually improve and better serve our customers. The Sun Manufacturing and Fulfillment facility is located just 10 miles from our corporate office in Southern Utah, and is Certified Organic by CCOF. With growing customer demand, bringing these services in-house allows us to expedite new product launch initiatives, guarantee faster shipping speeds, and provide enhanced quality control. Most Sunwarrior products, made in this facility, are Certified Organic by CCOF.
Sourcing
Our pea, rice, fava bean, and hemp proteins are made using enzymes to separate the natural starch from the protein, enabling us to use a concentrated protein powder that delivers nutrition with far less bulk. The entire process is free of solvents, GMOs, radiation, artificial colours, preservatives, and assures a protein that is an easy-to-digest, nutrient-dense superfood.

Allergy Information
Allergens held in our production facility are peanut and tree nuts (coconut and lychee). Great care is taken to keep allergen ingredients separated from all other ingredients. After allergen ingredients are used in production, we conduct thorough cleaning and intensive testing, to be sure that our equipment is free from allergens before we resume production of non-allergen products. Soy, dairy, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, sesame, and gluten are not found in our facility.
While wheatgrass is a wheat product, it does not contain gluten. Our Ormus Supergreens and our Beauty Greens Collagen Booster contain wheatgrass. If you have a wheat allergy, then we would not recommend these products for you. However, if you are just gluten intolerant, then these products would be safe for you. We harvest the wheatgrass while it is young, from the sprouts before they germinate. There is no risk for gluten intolerance nor celiac disease. This is how we can state it is gluten-free. We always recommend that you consult a physician if you are unsure of what you can and cannot consume due to your allergy.
Packaging
Over the years, we have transitioned to a container made with 100% post-consumer recycled resin that can be recycled-again! Our container designs have also reduced our energy consumption during storage and transportation. They are BPA free, phthalate free, and we use plastic #2 (HDPE), which is the safest form of plastic in the World!
What About Our Labels?
Sunwarrior has partnered with a label supplier that offers:
- A carbon neutral printing platform that produces beautiful digitally printed labels.
- An average scrap rate of 2% vs 10% industry standard.
- Order only whats needed. This reduces waste of obsolete labels and packaging.
- No Polymer plates are required. This reduces energy and materials.

- We’ve already talked about the sustainability with our packaging and our plans for the future, but let’s talk about our products. Our entire product lineup is 100% plant-based and the farming methods of which we source our ingredients from, are sustainable. We don’t harm the oceans and we have no use for factory farming. While we respond to market trends to create and introduce new products, we only do so if it is sustainable and we can find sources that meet our high standards of quality. Sunwarrior is good for your body, animal friendly, and good for the planet. What About Heavy Metals?
- Our products are tested to provide you with superior, safe nutrition. Heavy metals are found in everything grown in soil. These metals naturally exist in our earth’s crust, in our air, and in our water. They frequently appear in food that requires more water, such as brown rice, root vegetables, and greens. They are unav2oidable for people who eat whole foods from the earth.
- Sunwarrior and other leading health advocates seek higher standards from farmers and suppliers to reduce heavy metals through methods of watering and air quality management. You can support the cause and advocate for cleaner farming methods by buying Certified Organic products and eating more plant-based foods. Together, we can create change in the way food is grown, improving ingredients from the source.
- With most of our manufacturing and fulfilment done in-house, we purchase from reputable suppliers and require our vendors to deliver higher quality goods. Most of our products are both organic and Kosher certified, which means there are other objective parties inspecting the producers of our ingredients and our production facilities at every step.
How We Test for Heavy Metals
We want to assure you that our products are safe choices for you and your family, but we don’t expect you to take our word for it. We utilize an ISO-Certified, third-party lab to conduct all our heavy metals and micros testing.
ARL Bio Pharma testing lab ensures our product meets the necessary standards. The results are delivered as a Certificate of Analysis giving us the confidence that we are delivering you the cleanest possible nutrition.

Compare
When comparing the heavy metals found in Sunwarrior protein powders to real, whole vegetables and fruits, on average, our proteins contain 76% less cadmium than a cup of spinach, 68% less lead than an average-sized avocado, and 47% less arsenic than an average-sized peach.
The more processing a food undergoes, the less heavy metals it contains. These are removed along with the nutrients, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes that make living foods great. Processed foods—like sodas, candies, refined carbs, and even bacon—appear healthier when looking at heavy metal content alone, but appearances can be deceiving. Whole foods will always naturally contain some heavy metals.
